merabijlibill.pk started because checking an electricity bill in Pakistan usually means landing on a page buried under adverts and redirects, showing rates that were last updated two years ago.

The site does three things. You can open your bill for any of the eleven state distribution companies — MEPCO, LESCO, FESCO, GEPCO, IESCO, PESCO, HAZECO, TESCO, HESCO, SEPCO and QESCO — using the reference number printed on an earlier bill. You can estimate what a month will cost before the reading is taken, using the current NEPRA tariff. And you can read what the new connection process actually involves for your company, rather than a generic version of it.

Everything here is free and nothing needs an account.

We are not part of any distribution company and we do not work for the government. Bill data comes from the official billing system. What we build is the layer that makes it quicker to reach, and the explanation of what the numbers on it mean.

Rates in Pakistan change often. When NEPRA notifies a change, we update the pages carrying those figures instead of leaving old numbers online. If you find something wrong or out of date, write to hiteam@merabijlibill.pk and it gets corrected.
